Rinku Sobti, the Founder Designer of Rinku Sobti Fashions Pvt. Ltd., a company started two and a half decades back. She started her career with a London based Indian designer. After which, she worked with an Export house and eventually graduated to having her own Flagship store in New Delhi.
The brand today has major presence in mainstream fashion industry .
Rinku Sobti has been a part of various international shows, like the Coterie in New York and Tuileries in Paris and in London. She is also a registered member of FDCI (Fashion Design Council of India) and has managed to make her own place in the fashion realm, participating in the Lakme Fashion Week several times.
There has been a comprehensive effort by Rinku Sobti for promoting Indian Handloom Brands and also supporting the handloom artisans and the art of weaving by working along with multiple clusters and bringing new designs to these clusters so that the handloom gets associated with young generation. She has also been affiliated with Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

Rinku believes that true design is representative of the efforts of the various artisans behind the piece, an effort she claims is a part of ‘conscious fashion’.
